Key Project Elements

  • Coastal defence upgrade works of Dunmore East Harbour Pier 
  • Partial resurfacing of the East Pier with an in-situ reinforced concrete deck slab 
  • Laying of ducting network & extension of an existing watermain 
  • Installation a new surface drainage system consisting of gully pots & manholes 
  • Installation of oil interceptor & discharge through a new tideflex valve 
  • Existing ladders were extended to allow for the higher deck slab as required 
  • New pier furniture such as toe rails & ladder grab rails were fitted Lifting of existing steel & granite anchor bollards 
  • Construction of a precast retaining wall at the West Warf to allow HGV traffic travel on the West Warf
