Health & Safety

Priority Construction Limited (PCL) knows and understands that Safety is no Accident, it takes continual investment and commitment from everybody within the company to achieve our main objective of “Zero Harm to our Workers”.

Priority Construction operates to an integrated HSEQ Management System, which allows for consistency in delivery of our service i.e. the same high standards and procedures will be adhered to regardless of variables such as location, project size, etc.

Our management system is certified with ISO 45001 for Health & Safety.

PCL are also accredited with the CHAS (Contractors Health & Safety) Assessment Scheme which is a UK standard subject to annual external audits.

Achieving and maintaining these standards provides Priority Construction with a set of standard requirements for identifying, minimising and controlling health & safety risks in the workplace while ensuring compliance with relevant legislation.  Through the implementation of these standards we are reassuring our clients of our full commitment to Health & Safety.

Priority Construction is also members of the National Irish Safety Organisation (NISO) and the British Safety Council.  As a result PCL obtain health & safety advice from numerous sources i.e: HSA, HSE UK, CIF, external auditors etc.  We are also signed up to receive the monthly Health & Safety Practitioner newsletter where advice and information can be learned on various health & safety matters.

Priority Construction view safety as a core value, not just a priority.
